In »Very First Place« Kirsten Johannsen looks into the notion of lived space and human memory. For this purpose, she uses the exhibition space as her studio. Here she invites individuals to recall and describe their very first remembered place. Using this information, the artist creates architectural models and cartographic folding objects, all of which are displayed alongside audio recordings in the exhibition space.
